BCSD Hall of Fame
The Bakersfield City School District is now accepting nominations for inductees into the newly created BCSD Hall of Fame. Located in the Board Room lobby at the Education Center, the Hall of Fame will recognize former students and other community members who have distinguished themselves by their service to the Bakersfield City School District. Nominations will be accepted for both living and deceased individuals.
Inductees will be announced at a meeting of the Board of Education and honored at the Hall of Fame Gala on April 24, 2010. In order to submit a nomination, click here to complete the nomination form and submit it online or you can pick up a printed nomination form in the Communications office at the Ed Center.

BCSD Leading the Way
There’s
been a great deal of discussion about technology in California
classrooms, but Bakersfield City School District is the first to make
it a district-wide reality. Working with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, on
September 21, the District launched Learning Village, a revolutionary
