Note: The Mini-Grant due dates have changed.  There will be "Back to School" and "Spring" Mini-Grants.  The "Back to School" Mini-Grant will be due the week after school is out for funding of the following school year's project.  The "Spring" Mini-Grant will be due the first part of December and awarded in the middle of January for spring projects.  

2006 California Table Grape Commission's "Innovation in Teaching" minigrant-
Congratulations to Robin Slocum of Pauly Elementary.  She was awarded $500 from the California Table Grape Commission for her minigrant application titled "A Grape's Journey: From Seed to the Table."

The Best Buy Teach Award
Joyce Victor, Bessie Owens Primary, was the recipient of The Best Buy Teach award in the amount of $2,500 for her FLASH (Families Learning at School and Home) Program.  Micheal Schmitt, Casa Loma Elementary was also a recipient of the Best Buy Grant.  For more information go to http://www.bestbuy.com/ scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Community Relations.

National Board Teacher Scholarships $1,000 towards completion
Funding will be available for teachers who are pursuing their National Boards.  For more information, contact Valerie Saylor for details.  Scholarships awarded for the 2007-08 year click here.
