What is Active for Life?
Active for Life is a program designed to help you be more active and develop healthy lifestyle and eating habits. You set personal goals for regular physical activity, anything from moderate activities like walking to more intense ones like running, eating healthy, including fruits and vegetables, and drinking water, etc.
You record your daily points on the Weekly Tracking Sheet for 10 weeks. Your team provides support to help you reach your goal and there are fabulous prizes and fun events throughout the program to help you along the way.
Where do I sign up?
All you have to do to participate in Active for Life is:
1. Fill out the Goal Setting Form, Registration Form and Safety Questionairre (Be sure to check with your doctor to be sure it's safe to exercise).
2. Send these forms to Health Services.
3. Download the Weekly Tracking Sheet and record your points each day.
4. Keep track of your weekly points on the Ten Week Form as you go.
5. Be active and eat heathy.
6. Fill out the evaluation at the end of the program.
It's that easy!!!
If you would like to participate you can purchase a pedometer at any sporting goods store or large retailer such as Big 5 or Target.
