Harris Elementary School

Our mission, as a school community, is to provide a safe learning environment to guide, nurture and challenge our students and ourselves to reach a high level of academic achievement as determined by state and national standards.  Academic development and social responsibility will be our highest priorities.  We commit to a comprehensive system of support to assure their outcome.

  Harris was named in honor of Caroline Payne Harris for her many years of dedicated service as a teacher and longtime principal.  Harris School serve students in Kindergarten thru 5^th grades.  The school is located on 9.7 acres at 4110 Garnsey Lane. 

The school was built in 1960 and is 48 years old.
