Instructional Beliefs

We believe:

  • A system of open and honest communication involves all stakeholders.
  • Collaboration, cohesiveness and consistency are fundamental keys to student academic success.
  • Children are unique individuals who deserve to be exposed to an enriching curriculum in all areas of development with focus on individual achievement and citizenship.
  • All children can achieve through curriculum aligned to state standards.
  • Instruction should be rigorous, relevant and differentiated to meet individual student needs.
  • Differentiated and focused professional development is essential to the strength of the instructional program.
  • Professional Development is on-going and necessary for all school site and central office personnel to increase student academic achievement.
  • Fiscal and other resources should target the needs of all schools to ensure equal access to quality instruction.
