Thorner Magnet Program Wins Golden Bell Award
Awarded in the Fine Arts category, the Juliet Thorner Magnet School Creative and Performing Arts Program operates under the direction of Margaret Gallegos, principal and Sharon Roxburgh, Magnet Specialist. Mrs. Gallegos was present to receive the highly respected Golden Bell Award at a special ceremony during the California School Board Association's (CSBA) Awards Luncheon at the San Diego Marriot Hotel & Marina, on Saturday, December 1st, 2007. The event was held in conjunction with the CSBA's Annual Education Conference.
