Red Ribbon Week celebrated across BCSD
Schools around
the district took time during Red Ribbon Week to impress on their students the
importance of keeping their minds and bodies free from the destructive influence
of drugs, alcohol and tobacco. Visitors ranging from Board Members and the
Superintendent to McGruff the Crime Dog and the Bakersfield Chief of Police
spoke to students stressing the importance of keeping themselves free of harmful
and addictive substances.
