State Leadership within BCSD
Congratulations are in order for both Sandra Yoon and Mike Stone as they have been elected as presidents of their statewide professional organizations. Sandra, to the nearly 2,000 member California School Library Association, and Mike to the nearly 500 member California Band Directors Association. Both Sandra, as Library Media Services Coordinator, and Mike, as Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator, have worked tirelessly over the years in support of Libraries and the Arts. These new positions merely highlight their devotion to their chosen professions. We’ve always known that we have some of the best educators in the state, it’s nice to know that the rest of the state feels the same way. Kudos, Ms. Yoon and Mr. Stone.
