Munsey Students Receive Free Books
Munsey Elementary recently received a donation of $3,215 from AltaOne Federal Credit Union's Bakersfield branch. The money is going to the 'Reach New Heights in Reading' program which will allow Munsey Elementary to purchase 643 books, one book per student at the school.The funds were raised through AltaOne Federal Credit Union's new account partnership with Munsey Elementary. For every account that was open at the new AltaOne branch in Bakersfield, the money to purchase one book was donated.
