BCSD Broadway Style
Talented students from across the district showcased their musical, thespian, and gymnastic abilities recently during three theatrical productions.Mt. Vernon School's MAGNET program performed the Wizard of Oz at the Ed. Center auditorium. They had 4 packed showings over a span of two days; two shows in the morning for students from the district, and two night shows open to the public.
Noble Elementary's Drama Club had two evening showings of Aladdin at Noble's Cafeteria. The Drama Club worked long hours leading up and during the days of the shows. On the second day of performances the students showed up before 5am for an interview on Channel 17's morning news.
And Owens Intermediate's GATE/MAGNET program performance of The Jungle Book also had four packed shows at the Ed. Center auditorium, two morning shows and two evening shows over two days.
