The Bakersfield City School District Visual and Performing Arts teachers participated in the 2024 Summer Institute at Steirn Middle School on August 1st and 2nd. During the two day session, teachers in the areas of Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Visual Arts, Arts Innovations, and Arts Integration took part in a series of professional development sessions that engaged them in the latest methods of instruction and instructional planning in their fields. Teachers walked away from the weekend reguvinated and ready for the 2024-2025 school year!
