Vision and Mission

  •

    Our Vision:

Pioneer Drive Elementary School's vision is to equip all students with the necessary tools and skills for success. Pioneer Drive Elementary School also seeks to inspire all students to achieve.

    Our Mission:

Pioneer Drive Elementary School is committed to engaging students in a rigorous and nurturing learning environment and maintaining positive relationships with all students and families.

History

  • Pioneer was first constructed and occupied in 1949. Since then, educational services have been available to the children and families in the surrounding community. The school was named for the street that it was located – “Pioneer Drive.” The staff and administration are putting forth maximum effort every day to make sure that each student has the necessary resources, materials, and environment for a productive educational experience.

School Beliefs

  • We believe that...

Student learning is the chief priority of our school.

The commitment to continuous improvement is imperative if our school is going to enable students and staff to become confident, self-directed, life-long learners.

Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, cultural, and intellectual needs.

Parents, students, and staff share the responsibility for student learning.

Parent involvement is crucial to the academic success of our students.

Schools need to function as a learning organization and promote opportunities for all those who have a stake in the success of the school to work together as a community of learners.

Positive relationships and mutual respect among and between students, parents, community, and staff enhance a student’s self-esteem and academic potential.
