What are spending accounts? Spending accounts are tax benefits that help you save money, budget for expenses, reduce the need to come up for cash at the time of purchase.

• Funds are tax free.  Did you know that you pay about 25% on income taxes?  That's $25 out of every $100 earned.  Spending accounts allow you to keep that $25 and spend it on qualified expenses. 
• They are not just for you and your expenses.  Spending accounts can be used not only for your own expenses but also for expenses incurred by your tax dependents.
• They are not insurance plans.  You can open up a spending account even if you are not enrolled in your employer's health benefits or other similar benefit programs.
