McKinley Students Treated to Painting Event

April 30, 2018 - The sixth grade students in Mrs. Lorie Morris class at McKinley Elementary School enjoyed an afternoon of painting and fun as a reward for their 100 consecutive days of perfect attendance.

The class welcomed a guest instructor who provided materials and step-by-step training to help the students paint their own personal masterpieces. Each student received their own canvas and had access to paints, brushes, and other tools, all create their own art-piece to take home.

Mrs. Morris, the 6th grade teacher at McKinley who hosted the event, said, “My students are being rewarded today because of their 100 days of perfect attendance.  This is a unique accomplishment, which doesn't happen very often,” said Morris.

Congratulations to this group of students on their impressive Attendance Achievement!
