Cell Phone Support

The Bakersfield City School District utilizes Blackberry Enterprise services for Microsoft Exchange Server. The District supplies and supports the use of Blackberries to select department heads and District leaders. BCSD does not support the use of Blackberry Enterprise Services on personal cell phones.

Information Technology does not assist with or support the use of personal phones for E-mail or wireless network access.

It is possible to connect to the BCSD E-Mail system (Exchange 2007) from select personal phones, but Information Technology cannot provide asistance with this process.

Configuring mobile devices to access your BCSD E-mail may increase the amount of data usage on your cellular phone plan. BCSD is in no way responsible for any charges you may incur.

If you want to use the District’s wireless network (Wi-Fi) for internet and E-mail access please read the documentation here.

The E-mail server connection parameters are:
