Literacy Assessments
The components of these assessments encompass three critical areas of early literacy development:
- Phonemic Awareness: Assessing students' ability to hear, identify, and manipulate individual sounds in spoken words. (K-1)

Phonics: Evaluating students' understanding of the relationship between letters and sounds crucial for decoding words. (K-2)

Fluency: Measuring students' ability to read with automaticity, accuracy, and proper expression. (3)
*Dual Immersion K-3 students complete the Dual Immersion version of the Literacy Assessments.
*Alternate Curriculum 1st-8th grade students complete the Alternate Curriculum version of the Literacy Assessments.
