The Bakersfield City School District (BCSD) and the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) believe one of the keys to a student's academic success is through early intervention. We are committed to seeking out , identifying and providing special education services to students who meet eligibility criteria for special education services from birth through 8th grade.
