School Parent Involvement Requirements - 2025-2026
Each school receiving Title I, Part A funds is required to:

Host an annual in-person meeting, led by the principal, to inform families about the school's participation in Title I, Part A, explain parent rights, and review Title I requirements.
Note: This meeting must be conducted live — no prerecorded messages. -
Include the Parent University Kick-Off as part of the event.

Use the provided Title I Presentation Template, but ensure school-specific data, SPSA Title I strategies, Title I-funded actions, and key contact information are included and updated.
Scheduling Guidance:

The Title I Annual Meeting should be scheduled at a time that is convenient for families.

Schools may hold the Title I Meeting during Back-to-School Night only if all requirements are met.

A formal invitation specifically stating that families are invited to the Annual Title I Parent Meeting.

A sign-in sheet showing family attendance at the Title I meeting.

Updated presentation reflecting school-specific Title I information.

Schoolwide Program- Title I schools with 40% or higher Socioeconomically Disadvantaged students.

Schools submit the required documents to the State & Federal Programs Department and keep them on file at the school for five years.
