Welcome! Please review the 2026 Summer general bus routes by referring to your students' program name and dates. We have several programs running this summer. Please make sure your student/s knows their program name. You can also add a note to the driver in your students' backpack with the appropriate information. Example: students full name, student id number, program they are attending and the bus stop being used.
Notice: For ALL students attending the Gameday Sport Academy (GSA) and Migrant (21st Century Learning) programs. Students will be picked up at all Elementary Sites where they will be taken to the Steam Summer Academy sites. All Middle & Jr. High students attending GSA or Migrant will ride from elementary sites. We will have staff help transfer the students to the appropriate shuttle bus taking students to the GSA & Migrant programs. You can find this information on bus schedules for your program. The same process will happen for the return trip for GSA students. Migrant pm transportation will be from Longfellow straight to drop off site locations. We will be giving wristbands for students to wear or attach to their backpack for the entire program. This will help staff identify the students; program and bus route they utilize.
Bus Signage: Buses will have signage on the entrance door for the programs they service. We use route numbers for all our buses. RT#'s are located to the left of the entrance door, Route Placard Image. Please discuss this information and image with your student/s. Learning the route number is important as a spare bus number would change.
Bus Stop Rules: Please review these basic rules with your student/s. These rules are important for everyone's safety.
- Danger zone is 12 ft around buses. Please line up leaving space for the bus to reach the stop location.
- Never walk towards or stand to unload the bus until the bus entrance doors open, this signifies it is safe to load or unload the bus.
- Buses only in the bus zone area at school sites and at the designated bus stop locations.
- Escorted stops, if your student must cross the roadway the bus is parked upon the driver must escort your student/s. Except for multi lane and/or divided roadways, no one may cross for their safety. Oncoming traffic does not stop for the buses red lights.
- Please park on the same side of the street as the bus stop. This will help keep the drivers in control of the bus and monitoring all students. Help us keep all students safe.
- Arrive at their designated bus stop 5 minutes prior to the scheduled bus arrival.
Bus Rider Rules: Please review these basic rules with your student/s. All rules are important for everyone's safety.
