Paul L. Cato Middle School opened its doors in 2014, making it one of the newest campuses in the Bakersfield City School District. The school was named after a successful and long-tenured teacher, counselor and administrator who served the students of BCSD for over 35 years. The administration and staff at Cato Middle School work hard everyday to provide the best academic environment for each student that walks onto campus.
