At Fletcher Elementary, our mission is to lead students through inquiry toward academic, social, and emotional excellence; to establish strong partnerships between home, school, and the community to enhance learning opportunities for all students.Fletcher Elementary opened its doors in 2014, alongside Cato Middle School. The school is named after Dr. Douglas K. Fletcher, an educator who served many years in the Bakersfield City School District as a teacher, counselor, and principal.
