Stella Hills is a dynamic campus that emphasizes the whole child.  Despite a large number of socio-economically disadvantaged students, our students thrive in a warm and caring environment.  Our team helps students work through neighborhood trauma so they can focus on academics and become life-long learners.Stella Hills School opened in 1992. The school is named after Stella I. Hills, a dedicated educator, who served 31 years in the Bakersfield City School District.  Her exemplary hard work and dedication are the foundation of highly structured Stella Hills Elementary.
