Williams is a PK-6th grade school that is a beacon in the community in which it serves.  Providing a gold-standard education, students, staff, and families work collaboratively to ensure that all students learn at their full potential in a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment.  We want our students to love coming to school every day!Named for the street it was built on, Williams Elementary opened in 1914 and is one of the oldest schools in Bakersfield.  The school was rebuilt in 1954 because of severe damage caused by the earthquake of 1952.  For more than a century, Williams Elementary staff works hard to maintain high academic standards and provide a strong learning environment for each student.
